Robin Hood: Robin Hood
is one of the most important figures of English folklore, whose originates from
medieval times, but who remains significant in popular culture where he is
known for “roobing the rich to give to
the poor” fighting against injustice. His band includes a swordsman, an
archer and the Nottingham’s priest. In the history, a lot of people have made a
lot of films about his legend live, the last on 2010 with Russell Crowe like
Robin Hood.
William Wallace (Brave Heart): (1270-1305). He was a Scottish
soldier, who led his country against the occupation of King Edward I in the War
of Independence of Scotland.

Merlin/ King Arthur legend:
The original name of Merlin was Myrddin, and Merlin’s name is derived from the
latin “Merlinus”. The original Merlin is not connected with the King Arthur, he
also appears in some medieval Welsh poems.

"Bard of Avon".

lot of British people moved to America to live, but the law in there was very
unfair, and the people had wanted to changed but the British King had said,

where the new Americans had won with the help of France. On 4th
July 1783 the USA was declareted like a
new country.
Commonwealth colonies: served to have more materials and labor,
with the colonies were getting more money.
Colonies most famous are: Australia, India, South Africa and Canada.
Science explosion: Explosion of science is
investigated with DNA and is able to create clones of
people and got the artificial insemination.
World War I: The World War I had during 5
years, from 1914 to 1919. In this war Germany fought between France and United
Kingdom. Geramy lost the war and accept the conditions. British obligate
germany to accept “El Tractat de
Versalles”
World War II: The 2nd World War was from 1939 to
1945. In this War fought France, United Kingdom, URSS and the USA between the
dictators of central Europe, firstly the Nazis. The War finished i n 1945 when
URSS entered in Berlin and Hitler kill himself and her wife.
The Beatles: the Beatles was a very important
group of music in 60’s decade; the group
was composed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney,
George Harrison, Ringo Starr. They made
important songs as “The yellow submarine” and
many more. Nowadays some members of the
band are dead as John Lennon.
European Union:The European Union was created after
World War II, was created for a more egalitarian and so socialistic between
countries and helps each other.
The European Union is made up of 27 countries:
